Bring along camping chairs and join the Lions for a fun evening or great music and excellent fellowship.
Port Shepstone Lions will be holding an official opening bash at their new clubhouse at Port Shepstone Country Club on Saturday, October 17 from 4pm until 11pm.
Live entertainment will kick off with local outfit “Flat Tyre Groove”.
This popular band comprising Ian Jones and Eoin Welsh has been entertaining for a number of years now.
They have also been a regular at the annual Lions Shows over the years.
Ian and Eoin started jamming together 30 years ago.
Together they play a superb repertoire which includes popular rock, blues and rock ‘n’ roll hits from yesteryear.
Their passion for music combined with their long association makes for a very entertaining ensemble of great music.
From 7pm until 11pm, local artist Anton “Roosterbrood” Roos will be providing the entertainment.

Anton has been playing music as a solo artist since 1995. He has entertained at many venues from Pennington to Port Edward and also featured regularly at the annual Lions Show.
His wide repertoire covers most of the music genres, but his passion lies with good old rock.
He released a CD called ‘My Pub Hits’, a collection of 12 favourite pub songs, in December 2019.
In June 2020, he produced a video of the Rod Stewart song, ‘Sailing’, for South Coast Hospice featuring three fellow musicians.
Tickets will be on sale at the entrance.
There will also be a fully licensed bar as well as hamburgers and wors rolls on sale.
All proceeds will go to the Port Shepstone Lions administration fund.
