A 28 year old man was fatally stabbed in Simpson Road, Hibberdene while he was with a female companion at about 5.30pm yesterday (October 22).

“A man approached them and demanded cellphones and cash before stabbing the man,” said police spokesman, Captain Petros Mpinge.
The suspect then fled.
The victim is yet to be officially identified.
Hibberdene SAPS has opened a case of murder for investigation.
