Customer killed during Malangeni armed robbery

While the robbery was in progress a customer, unaware of the situation, drove up.

A customer was recently shot dead in an armed robbery at a Malangeni tuckshop.

The shop owner was offloading goods from his vehicle when he was approached by two armed men.

He was forced at gunpoint to go into the shop and lie on the floor.

The men then forced the shop’s cashier to hand over the money from the till.

While the robbery was in progress a customer, unaware of the situation, drove up.

“When the customer walked towards the shop entrance, the robber keeping guard outside shot and fatally wounded him, ” said Scottburgh Saps communications officer, Captain Adam Francis.

The robbers fled with the cash in a white VW Polo.
