Youth attend Moral Retake 2026 at Freedom Gate Church in Margate
Teens from many different churches raised their hands together in worship.
Freedom Gate Church in Margate recently welcomed a couple of hundred South Coast high school youth to its annual youth purity conference, Moral Retake 2026!
It was evident that the theme of this year’s event carried great significance.
The property lit up on the evening of September 25 as the youth arrived for registration, Retake Café, photo booths, face walls, and plenty of space to relax and connect until the evening session opened.
Pastor Davin Guest said that from the first drumbeat to the last note played, they made every lyric count as Jesus received His full reward in worship, declaring that ‘He can light up even the darkest night!’

Guest speaker Levi Wimble encouraged everyone to press into an encounter with Jesus over the weekend and preached an inspiring message, asking the question, What is your battle plan?
On September 26, Christy Herselman addressed the parents, equipping them to talk to their children about their sexuality, about social media, and the dangers of AI.
The youth arrived back in their hundreds again for the afternoon sessions with Christy, Levi, Davin, as well as Mitch and Tyler Dyer.
The topics were clearly relevant and on point.
There was a thought-provoking Q&A session with the speakers, and the evening session opened with a spoken word piece.
Mitch Dyer landed the conference with a grounding message on secure identity in Christ and the love of the Father.
There were opportunities for ministry.

Powerful prayers were prayed, lives saved, identity restored and purity reclaimed.
Teens from many different churches raised their hands together in worship.
“You cannot deny that there is so much hope for our beautiful South Coast and this rainbow nation when you look across a room full of passionate Christian youth like this,” said Davin.
