Woman (33) gunned down on the P200 in Gamalakhe

Police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge said that Gamalakhe Saps received a report about a shooting incident.

A 33-year-old woman was found dead on the P200 in Gamalakhe on Tuesday this week at 10pm.

Police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge said that Gamalakhe Saps received a report about a shooting incident.

“The woman was found lying in her bakkie with two gunshot wounds to the right arm,” he said.

The motive for the murder is unknown and Gamalakhe Saps detectives are investigating the matter.

The woman has not yet been identified and no arrests have been made.

Glen Preston of Med-Evac confirmed that paramedics had attended to the scene and had found the driver of the vehicle dead on arrival.
