It is once again time for the annual ILoveBoobies Charity Secret Swim.

The event calls on women to honour the fighters, celebrate the survivors and remember the brave souls who fought against breast cancer.

There are 25 secret locations this year, which includes women of Scottburgh.

On October 10, join women from across South Africa will meet at beaches, dams and pools for a morning that’s about so much more than swimming.

Secret Swims also help more women access life-saving breast cancer screenings.

Remember, there’s no racing and no pressure. Just swim, dip, float or simply get your feet wet. Show up and be part of something meaningful.

The event will be held from 07:30 until about 09:00 at R200 per person and is open to women of all ages.

Pre-entry and registration are essential. Your secret location will be sent via email and SMS at 21:00 on Friday, October 9.

The day will kick off with registration, temporary tattoos and pre-swim selfies at 07:30. Thereafter at 07:45 – phones away, time to disconnect to connect, followed by a welcome and safety briefing from ILoveBoobies.

An optional topless group photo (taken from behind) will also be done.

At 08:00, get ready to get into the water! Female lifeguards will be on duty, with bag-watchers keeping an eye on your belongings.

Once dried off, grab your picnic and a hot drink, settle in and soak up the good vibes.

Entry fees go towards free breast cancer screenings for women in underserved communities across South Africa.
