Pensioner stabbed and bitten by intruder

A pensioner was stabbed in his thigh while at home in Umdoni Road, Sea Park last Saturday at about 9am.

Police spokesman Captain Petros Mpinge said the intruder grabbed a knife off a nearby table and stabbed the pensioner in his thigh.
The pensioner also sustained a bite to his hand and a cut on his arm.
The intruder then fled, taking only a cellphone. A case of house robbery was opened at Southport Saps.
