Accident in Umtentweni leaves two dead
According to medics, the patients were stabilized on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
Two people have died and one is in critical condition after a vehicle overturned on the N2 in Umtentweni on February 3.
When emergency services arrived on the scene, they found that the vehicle had lost control and overturned multiple times.
Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded and paramedics found that all three occupants sustained serious injuries.
According to medics, the patients were stabilized on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment.
Unfortunately, one occupant sustained fatal injuries and died on the scene.
A second occupant succumbed to their injuries later in hospital.
The third occupant has been transferred to Durban and is in critical condition.
