UPDATE: 20 more Covid-19 deaths in Ugu in the last 7 days

Some 14 828 people have recovered from the virus in the district.

As of Monday, February 8, KwaZulu-Natal has 321 043 confirmed Covid-19 cases, according to the Department of Health.
 

Of these, 21 820 are active with 464 new cases confirmed today.

Some 9 091 people have died from the disease in the province.

The recovery rate is 289 268.
