ATM machine bombed during early hours

Hibberdene Saps is investigating the robbery.

Five armed unknown men, driving a silver vehicle arrived, at a shopping centre near Hibberdene during the early hours of today (around 2am). 

According to police spokesman Colonel Thembeka Mbele, the men instructed the security guards to move away from the machines.

“They bombed the ATM machine, took a package from it and fled the scene.”

A case of robbery has been opened at Hibberdene SAPS for investigation.
