Residents fed up with poor service delivery
Another meeting will be held on April 12 to decide on the way forward.
The Bendigo Residents’ and Ratepayer’s Association held a meeting on Monday during which anger and frustration at the lack of service delivery from Ugu District and Ray Nkonyeni municipalities was expressed.
Davina Campbell, secretary of the association, said the outcome of the meeting was that residents are tired of excuses, particularly if being told there is no money, while very generous salaries continue to be drawn.
“The proposed withholding of payments is gaining momentum,” she reported back.
Another meeting will be held on April 12 to decide on the way forward.
The venue is still to be confirmed.
All residents of Ward 16 are invited to attend.
