Tweni’s restart project underway

Many exciting projects to beautify the area are happening in Tweni.

There’s reason to celebrate as the Tweni Whale Deck now has a brand new table and benches… right on time for what’s hoped will be a wonderful whale watching season.

This is thanks to Allan Clark and his staff from Bendigo Electrical, who made the solid reinforced concrete table and bench weighing one ton, to replace the old wooden one.

Mr Clark then used a crane truck to deliver and fit the table and bench in place.

This is just of the many projects taking place in and around the leafy suburb.

The Tweni Conservancy together with the Tweni Residents’ and Ratepayer’s Association have collaborated to roll-out a ‘Tweni Restart Project’ with the goal to beautify the area.

Residents are already fixing potholes, cutting verges, collecting litter and most recently a team has cleaned the small bridge on the way to the beach.
