Two pedestrians killed on N2 near Mtwalume

The two people were declared dead on the scene.

Two pedestrians died in an accident involving a bus on the N2 near Mtwalume last night.

It’s believed the bus collided with the two pedestrians, which caused another vehicle to leave the road and overturn.

Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that one patient had sustained serious injuries.

Craig Botha of KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service said that, sadly, the two pedestrians sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead on scene.

“The patient was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further treatment,” he said.
