One dead in bakkie crash near Port Shepstone

A total of six people were injured in the crash.

 
One person died and another five sustained injuries in a crash on the N2 between Port Shepstone and Umtentweni last night (Tuesday).
 
Craig Botha of Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service said one person sustained fatal injuries and succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived.
 
“When emergency services arrived on the scene they found that a bakkie and trailer, carrying wood, lost control and overturned.”
 
The other patients, whose injuries ranged from minor to serious, were treated on scene before being transported to hospital.
