Cops crack illegal liquor sales

A woman (36) was arrested and charged for dealing in illegal liquor. The liquor was seized by police and she paid a fine of R2000.

Margate SAPS Crime Prevention and Rural Safety members recently conducted an operation at Mankuntshane and Gcilima areas.

A woman (36) was arrested and charged for dealing in illegal liquor. The liquor was seized by police and she paid a fine of R2000.

Margate SAPS station commander Brigadier William Slabbert applauded the members for ensuring that the public comply with the law regarding the sale of alcohol and those who default will be punished accordingly.
