Police urge public to be on lookout for missing man (23) and teen (14)

Saps has requested that anyone with information on the possible whereabouts of the two, to please contact their numbers mentioned in the story.

Police are searching for Lungelo Myende (23) who has been reported missing at Hibberdene Saps after he failed to return home to Mkhumbane ward, in Malangeni, Umzinto. It is alleged that he was walking home from a tavern on May 25, 2021 and has not been seen since.

Attempts to contact him have been unsuccessful. Detective Warrant Officer Sifiso Ngubane of Hibberdene Detective Service is investigating his disappearance and can be contacted on 039 6999811 or 073 6031155 with any information.

* Police also urgently request the assistance of the public in locating 14-year-old Zibuyile Ngcobo of Summerford farm in Donnybrook.

It is alleged that on June 14, 2021 she got into a white van going to Donnybrook. It was the last time she was seen. The teenager was wearing black jeans and tekkies and a pink T-shirt.
