Ivungu Conservancy mourns stalwart, prepares for changes

Looking ahead, there have been some changes for the conservancy.

Ivungu Conservancy members are saddened to hear of the death of Peter Charlton, an ardent alien plant control enthusiast who was of much assistance to the South Coast conservancies in the control of alien plant populations.

Looking ahead, there have been some changes for the conservancy.

The group is pleased to announce that Wendy Walker is that new chairperson.

It also welcomed Sarah Unsworth and Barbie Meyer to the committee and new members Hugh and Pam Anderson.

Lyn Schönewolf has retired after many years as treasurer and it is hoped she enjoys her well deserved retirement with her family.

Charles Carr was thanked for his many years of service as chairman. He has gladly agreed to take on the secretary/ treasurer role.

If you would like to join contact Charles via WhatsApp on 079 4087473.
