Teachers receive Covid-19 jabs in Ugu
It is hoped the Covid-19 educator vaccination campaign will enable the return of normal education processes in the Ugu District in future.
The management of Port Shepstone Regional Hospital, in collaboration with Ugu Health District and Primary Health Care staff, had successfully vaccinated more than a thousand educators against Covid-19 in the district by last Friday.

The hospital’s acting CEO, Dr Busi Dlamini led her team of senior managers together with the staff at Suid-Natal High and prepared the hall to ensure that the educator vaccination campaign which started last Wednesday went according to plan.
Dr Dlamini expressed her gratitude to the Depart of Basic Education management for use of the school hall and for the co-ordination of the teacher registration which led to a smooth vaccination process.

It is hoped the Covid-19 educator vaccination campaign will enable the return of normal education processes in the Ugu District in future.
While the educator vaccination campaign will be continuing in the district, however Port Shepstone Regional Hospital finalised its role in the campaign on Monday to prepare the logistics of its vaccination site for senior citizens who returned for their second doses of the Pfizer vaccine at the hospital from Tuesday.
The hospital management is grateful to nurses who are working tirelessly during the vaccination campaign.
