OPINION: ‘Youth forum thanks farmer for generosity’

Communities are plagued by unemployment, increase in crime, lawlessness, water shortages, shoplifting and unfunded youth programmes.

DEAR Editor;

On behalf of the ward 13 youth development forum and community at large, we thank Craig Rhodes from Fairvale Farm for his generous donations and contributions to community development.

Communities are plagued by unemployment, increase in crime, lawlessness, water shortages, shoplifting and unfunded youth programmes.

He donated:

* Equipment to repair roads, the sportsground and farming.

* Truck to transport young people, defending Hibberdene town from looters.

* Trailer with water tank to supply those in need of water.

Mr Rhodes employs more than 30 black people and is in engagement with the youth development forum to initiate ward 13 selection for soccer and netball squads, so that the youth don’t get involved in illegal activities because of boredom.
