Hospice receives donation from volunteer in Holland

In order to assist hospice, she was able to collect, buy and send a massive box filled with medical supplies to the office in Umkomaas.

Ellen Drijber, a former Khanya Hospice volunteer living in Aadenhout in the North of Holland, heard about the financial strain the NGO has been under since the introduction of lockdown in the country.

In order to assist hospice, she was able to collect, buy and send a massive box filled with medical supplies to the office in Umkomaas.

“We are so happy and grateful for every single item sent to us,” said hospice sister, Sue van Rijsbergen.

“These supplies will go a long way and will benefit many of our patients.”
