Woman seriously injured after crash near Mtwalume

A 38-year-old woman has sustained serious injuries after being involved in a rollover crash near Mfazazana (near Mtwalume) today (August 3).

According to KZN EMS spokesperson, Rob Mckenzie, she was a passenger in a bakkie which overturned while travelling on the N2 northbound.

Medics managed to stabilise her at the scene before transporting her to hospital for continued medical care.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by the police.
