Devotees of Shastriji Ramusheel Chaturvedi are informed that Covid-19 international travel regulations has prevented his participation in this year’s function. However, he has passed on his well wishes and looks forward to Navaratri Puja 2022 in South Africa.
On a positive note, this year’s function will be conducted by Pundit Minraj Sadgopte, who has the knowledge and experience in performing a puja of this magnitude.
The committee’s Ashok Ramouthar said the past 19 months has seen the strength of families and communities tested beyond measure with the devastating Covid-19 pandemic and the recent political unrest experienced in parts of the country.
“In these trying times, prayer is the only source of reassurance that will assist in dealing with the past and current stresses that has been inflicted on all of us. We humbly request all devotees to attend and partake in our upcoming Navaratri puja. Let us embrace the shakti of Mata Di together, and thank her for her divine intervention bestowed on us during these trying times,” he added.
There will be regular updates on the puja in the press, on the Hibiscus Coast Navaratri Committee Facebook page, or contact one of the committee members.
