Hospital strengthens vaccination programme with local factories

The public is also urged to get the Covid-19 vaccination this weekend too. It is free to everyone, whether you are South African or from another country.

Port Shepstone Regional Hospital invites staff from Marburg factories to participate in the Vooma Vaccination Weekend Programme from Friday, October 1 to Sunday, October 3.

The Vooma Vaccination Weekend concept is a call by President Cyril Ramaphosa urging all societal leaders to intensify their support for their people to get the Covid-19 vaccination, hoping that if they are encouraged by the people they trust, a large number, particularly the age group from 18 years and above would be vaccinated by Christmas.

Arrangements have been made to visit Marburg factories between 8:30 and 4:30 on all three days.

The public is also urged to get the Covid-19 vaccination this weekend too. It is free to everyone, whether you are South African or from another country. Head to your nearest government health facility or private pharmacy that offers vaccinations, even if you don’t have medical aid.
