Heritage Day themed flea market with Hibiscus Rotary

Some people came dressed in their cultural attire and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Heritage and culture were the themes at the Hibiscus Rotary flea market held in Uvongo last Saturday.

The weather certainly did not disappoint and as always the event was well organised.

I wanted to take my son along but instead left him at home.

I am glad I did because we would have bought almost everything, from beautiful beachwear to biscuits, slush puppies, biltong, coffee and handmade crafts.

With it being a heritage themed market, there was a competition for the best dressed.

The winner was Conrad Reinhold, second place went to Daniel Rajagopaul and in third place was Jerrylew Nuakabawo.
