Ugu offers debt amnesty for residential customers
Customers are urged to take advantage of this offer and settle debt as quickly as possible.
Ugu District Municipality is offering a ‘once off’ amnesty for all its customers.
If you have a debt that is over 120 days, then this is your chance to pay only 50 percent as follows:
* Pay within 30 days after signing of forms and 50% of your debt will be written off.
* Pay within 60 days and receive 40% off.
* Pay within 90 days and receive 30% off.
* Pay within 120 days and receive 20% off.
* Pay within 150 days and receive 10% off.
Customers are urged to take advantage of this offer and settle debt as quickly as possible.
The amnesty period is from September 1 this year and will end on February 28 next year.
