Hunt on for murder suspect

Col Mbele said the man was last seen on the same day walking towards the Pinetown area, he was wearing a yellow striped T-shirt, navy pants and sandals.

Police needs help in finding murder suspect, Siphiwe Richard Khawula (47), who was last seen on September 8, 2021.

Police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele said a warrant for his arrest was issued after an 85-year-old woman was assaulted with a hammer and brutally stabbed to death at her residence at Nyavini in Msinsini on the same day Khawula went missing.

Col Mbele said the man was last seen on the same day walking towards the Pinetown area, he was wearing a yellow striped T-shirt, navy pants and sandals.
