Experience an authentic flavour feast at Mozambik Margate

The restaurant celebrated its official opening last Friday.

Margate welcomes Mozambik

With roots firmly set in passion and Afro Porto flavours, the Mozambik restaurant group is back to service the South Coast with undeniably delicious food.

Located along the Margate beach and complete with a vibrant, spacious interior, the restaurant offers the taste of escape to all its customers.

A prime destination for food, one visit to Mozambik will have you feeling as though you are on a beach side Baraca.

The addition of this new Margate brand will see a total of nine Mozambik stores within KwaZulu-Natal.

This brand which initially launched as a single store in Ballito 15 years ago, has since seen rapid growth over the past half-decade and hopes to continue on its upward trajectory.

Recognition

Over time, Mozambik has received a host of accolades, positive media as well as pole position in various published restaurant rankings across South Africa.

With the central focus on customer experience, one can expect tasty cuisine of the highest quality, exceptional service and a really pleasant atmosphere.

Visiting Mozambik can easily be equated to a mini holiday, with each store made unique by the area’s localised idiosyncrasies.

History

The idea of Mozambik began as a solo venture in 2005 by a man named Luis Ferreira. He was thereafter joined by Brett Michielin and Ryan Stewart

Together, these men set out to build family restaurants that would share their passion for food and cooking with customers.

As a result, you can now experience the fabulous flavours of Mozambique without having to fly there.

Mission

Looking for a menu that offers a wide variety of taste experiences? Then look no further than Mozambik.

From traditional prawns to the brand’s famous chicken, you are sure to experience the taste of escape.

Based on the values of love, consistency, integrity, innovation and relationships, Mozambik prioritises a superior customer experience by delivering flavourful Afro-Porto cuisine through a memorable restaurant experience.
