There is a person in Barracouta Bend/Bream Road Pennington who is shooting monkeys. Tracey Rowles from Umsizi Vervet Rescue picked up a paralyzed monkey yesterday – shot. He will probably have to be euthanized today. So much cruelty. For what reason?
The Pennington Community Watch Annual General Meeting will be held at the Pennington Methodist Church in Pennington Drive on Monday, March 28 at 18:00. Community members are asked to make a concerted effort to attend as a lot of security related issues will be discussed. Tea, coffee and cake will be supplied.
A fundraiser is being held for Shaninlea Visser at Umdoni Park Golf Club on Sunday, March 27. R250 per person. Contact 039 9751615 for tee off times.
Pennington Conservancy advises that it would like to use the Beach Café for more community events, so community members are asked to contact the Beach Café to discuss requirements for clubs and groups.
An art exhibition would be such a great idea.
