Records broken at Margate Primary’s athletics day

In the Foundation Phase Inter House Athletics REID House won overall but all the participants did well and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Margate Primary‘s inter-house athletics event was a great success with some records broken.
It was a clean sweep by Reid House, who won both the relay and house cups.

Siyamthanda Songo broke records in both the 100m and 150m events. Kusaselihle Nkoyeni broke the U9 girls 150m event and Buhlebenkosi Nxumalo the U9 boys 150m.

In the Foundation Phase inter-house athletics, Reid House won overall but all the participants did well, and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

On the soccer front, U13 teams played against Port Edward and came away with a win and a draw.
Grades 1 and 3 netball teams played very well for their first games and had a good time.

Good sportsmanship was shown by all.
The inter-schools athletics take place on September 2 at Southcity College.
