Day 2: Protest action continues at Oshabeni

It's been going on for too long and the locals in the area are fed up.

Furious community members of Oshabeni Location near Port Shepstone have embarked on a second day of protest action about the lack of service delivery.

The angry members are protesting about the lack of water supply to the area, saying this has been a repeated and ongoing issues for more than four years.

Certain members met with Ugu District Municipality members who promised to ‘sort out the situation’.

The community has blocked the Old St Faith’s Road/P68, using any available objects.

They are awaiting Ugu officials to come and address them.

Saps is on scene and monitoring the situation.

Police keep an eye on the protest.
