Max De Beer and Stacey Gounden are at the helm of the business.

Margate Panelbeaters and Refinishers is now under the proud ownership of Max De Beer, in partnership with Stacey Gounden.

Max has been with Margate Panelbeaters and Refinishers for 23 years. Initially, he started as a spraypainter and worked his way up to management level. At the same time, he was a partner in the business and also managed the branch.

Max and Stacey took ownership on December 1, 2023. Stacey also has several years’ experience in the motor industry.

Margate Panelbeaters and Refinishers’ core service is repairs to all makes of vehicles in line with the latest technology. It’s also a one-stop claims centre and affiliated to all major insurance companies.

Looking to the future, Max and Stacey aim to continue with the same top quality service, quick turnaround time and excellent relationships with clients that the business has built its success on.

For clients’ convenience, a mobile quotation assessment team and a dedicated PDR specialist specialising in paintless dent removals are also available.

The newest member of the Margate Panelbeaters and Refinishers family is Alec Henderson.

Also, as a locally-based company, it intends to give back to the community through charity events.
