Visit Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach and view the all new Toyota Starlet Cross.

The new Toyota Starlet Cross has arrived and is available at Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach.

Like its hatchback sibling, the Starlet Cross is sourced from Maruti Suzuki of India.

The new compact crossover/SUV model is closely related to the Suzuki Fronx, and interestingly, South Africa is the only country so far to use the Starlet Cross name.

The same model is badged Urban Cruiser Taisor in its home market.

The 1.5-litre, naturally aspirated four-pot produces 77kW and 138 Nm of torque, available from 6 000r/min and 4 400r/min, respectively.

The petrol powertrain can be had with either a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic transmission.

Available in two specification grades, it’s sleek, stylish and affordable.
