Sleek BYD ATTO designed for journeys

The all-new BYD ATTO 2 DM-i is now available at BYD South Coast in Margate.

BYD South Coast in Margate launched the BYD ATTO 2 DM-i at the dealership last Saturday. Many were impressed that the compact SUV is currently one of the most affordable hybrid vehicles in South Africa.

Designed for family journeys with space and comfort, the ATTO 2 features a highly efficient plug-in hybrid powertrain. Depending on the battery specs, it achieves a combined fuel consumption of roughly 5.1L/100km in standard driving mode, and can drop to an incredibly low 2.0L/100km when frequently utilising pure electric power.

Andile Cele welcomes customers on launch day.

It pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor to deliver a combined 122kW and 300Nm, an EV-only range of 40km, and up to 1000km of total driving range.

The vehicle’s new interior features sleek vegan leather seats and ambient lighting, while a panoramic sunroof creates a bright, open, and relaxing experience.

Ané Kruger is ready to take to the road.

With the convenience of near field communication keyless entry, the BYD ATTO 2 DM-i is always ready to go. Plus, you can prepare your journey in advance, in hot or cold conditions, by activating the air conditioning via a smartphone app.
