Bates Motors sales executives earn awards

The award is a true reflection of Bates Motors Shelly Beach success on the South Coast.

Bates Motors Shelly Beach earned several awards at the Isuzu Sales Managers and Sales Executives Roadshow and Recognition Gala held in Umhlanga recently.

Across the dealer network, Bates Motors Shelly Beach, secured first place for sales manager in the medium category.

To add to the accolade, sales executive, Sabelo Xolo scooped first place for D-Max sales in the medium category, and Logan Govender placed second for D-Max sales, also in the medium category.

New vehicle sales manager, Theunis Barnard, said that the dealership's sales performance in 2025 was outstanding and congratulated the team.

“I am proud to be part of the dream team. Customers can be assured that Bates Motors is the trusted Isuzu dealership in KZN. It is a powerhouse in the Isuzu market and a force to be reckoned with,” said Barnard.

Xolo has been with the dealership for eight years. “Isuzu is a proven brand and it's here to stay. Isuzu Motors South Africa continues to dominate the commercial and bakkie market, proving its unmatched durability and enduring local presence. Yes, Isuzu has built a legendary reputation in South Africa for manufacturing tough, reliable workhorses that are uniquely designed to handle harsh local conditions,” he added.

Govender shared similar sentiments. “Isuzu is a trusted brand and remains one of South Africa's favourite bakkies. Isuzu's commitment to customers is evident through excellent service and after service care. It's not just about purchasing a vehicle – it's about securing a partnership with a brand that prioritises your experience as an owner. If you are looking for a hard working bakkie or truck then Isuzu should be your brand.” he said.
