Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach excels

The dealership was recognised for overall customer experience excellence.

Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach has won the Overall Customer Experience Excellence Quarter Two Award from Toyota South Africa.

The award recognises all 128 staff members on customer excellence across sales, automark, finance, after sales, and more for the second quarter of 2026.

Customers held nothing back sharing that the dealership is truly a home away from home. Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach was measured against 197 dealers in South Africa, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho and Namibia (BLNE countries) to be recognised as the recipient of this award.

“Customer excellence remains a key measure for Toyota South Africa as it is the one element that allows us to set ourselves apart from competitors. Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach challenged every aspect of consistency to earn this recognition. We are proud of Halfway Toyota Shelly Beach, for their teamwork, customer service and their passion for creating relationships for life,” said Sandy Naidu, Senior Manager: Sales Support at Toyota South Africa.

The award was handed over by Toyota South Africa representatives, Sandy Naidu (Senior Manager: Sales Support), Francois Streicher (Senior Manager: After Sales), Candice Dennis (Regional Office) Zenzi Mavuso (Senior Manager: East Coast Region), Loomile Mogorosi (Manager Customer Experience) and staff from the East Coast Regional Office).

“I was very proud of my team winning this award. It demonstrates that our guests are happy which is very important to me.

This award was from the service rating in new vehicle, and used vehicle sales and aftersales department over the second quarter and guest sentiment,” said Dealer Principal Stephen Jones. He thanked Toyota South Africa for the recognition.
