Missing man found dead

His body was identified by his sister, Siloam Ndlovu and Nombuso Sibisi of Women of Mtwalume, a non-profit.

Police do not suspect foul play in the death of Lindelani Zondo (29) of Dingimbiza in Mtwalume, whose body was found at Port Shepstone Beach recently.

Zondo had been missing for several weeks, and at the time, his family had been desperately looking for him.

The office of Ugu District Saps said an inquest docket was opened at Port Shepstone Saps, and a post-mortem concluded no foul play.

Zondo’s body was identified by his sister, Siloam Ndlovu and Nombuso Sibisi of Women of Mtwalume, a non-profit.

Ndlovu said Zondo’s bag, which was also found, contained new clothes and perfumes with price tags; only his wallet and phone were missing.

She said a friend of Zondo’s told them that he had tried to call him from the day he went missing, but his phone was answered by an unknown person who later switched it off.

Zondo had worked at a construction company in Boboyi.
