Married couple shot dead in Umkomaas

They were shot at multiple times while in their vehicle.

A man and his wife were shot and killed in Umkomaas earlier this evening.

According to reports, the shooting occurred near Valley View and Crowder Main roads.

IPSS Medical Rescue stated that upon arrival, paramedics it established that the couple were travelling down the road when an unknown number of suspects opened fire on their vehicle.

They sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were declared deceased.

The reason for this shooting is unknown at this stage.
