A woman had her bank card stolen while withdrawing cash from an ATM in Scottburgh on Monday (July 28).
She explained that she was distracted by a man at a nearby ATM, who claimed there was an issue with the machine she was using.
When the woman turned to look at the man, another individual came up from behind her, stole her card and fled in a getaway vehicle.
The woman said that within 10 minutes, her maximum daily limit was withdrawn from her account.
She urged the public to remain vigilant at all times, especially when using ATMs, and to avoid going alone when withdrawing money.
The woman thanked all who assisted her during this time.
The suspects have since been arrested.
