Two shot in separate hijackings on KZN South Coast
Police are investigating, no arrests have been made.

Motorists need to be vigilant of their surroundings after three separate hijacking incidents occurred on the South Coast.
According to Saps Ugu District Communications office, in the first incident, a case of hijacking, along with a charge of attempted murder has been opened for investigation at Port Shepstone Saps.
“A 46-year-old man who was parking his bakkie at his residence in Mkholombe last Saturday night, was shot at. It is further alleged that the suspects drove off in his vehicle. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.”
In the second incident, also last Saturday at about 20:00, a 33-year-old driver of a car was at the Murchison robots on the N2 when he had a gun pointed at him by two unknown suspects.
“The armed men forced the driver into the back seat and later dropped him off in Mtwalume, where he sought help.” A case of carjacking has been opened for investigation.
In the third incident which occurred last Sunday, a security company received information of a white car that had been hijacked in Ezinqoleni. “The security company gave chase and followed the vehicle which came to a stop in Crescent Street, Marburg. It is alleged that the driver, aged 22, sustained a gunshot wound. A case of attempted murder has been opened for investigation,” said the Saps office.
No arrests have been made as yet.
