Fairytales and athletics highlight a busy week at Creston College
Crowns, castles, bridges and chariots were among the colourful creations produced during the theme.
Creston‘s Group 5 learners recently spent time exploring traditional fairytales, transforming their classroom into an imaginative world of knights, princesses, dragons and princes.
Through role-play, storytelling and creative activities, the children brought familiar tales to life while developing their language, listening, sequencing and teamwork skills. Crowns, castles, bridges and chariots were among the colourful creations produced during the theme.
High school learners competed for valuable points during the school’s inter-house athletics competition. Eagle House emerged victorious, claiming both the House Cup and Spirit Cup with 718 points, ahead of Falcon House on 677.
Emma Thompson and Brodey Watson were named Junior Victrix and Victor Ludorum, while Ngcebo Mazwi and Luke van Niekerk claimed Senior Victrix and Victor Ludorum titles.
