Police have opened a murder investigation after a woman’s decomposed body was found in a rental room in Mkholombe Informal Settlement, near Boboyi on January 4.
She has been identified as Asithandile Mkuba (35).
According to Saps Ugu District Corporate Communication, on breaking open the padlock of the room, community members found Mkuba on the bed in a state of decomposition.
No arrests have been made as yet.
