Suspected scammer nabbed in Scottburgh

The public is urged to be alert while shopping.

The Gladiator Security Services team was on high alert last Wednesday after officers spotted a group allegedly linked to scamming activities at Scottburgh Mall.

This happened around midday, and the quick thinking by the on-site team led to an immediate call for backup.

The control room then dispatched the area response officer and duty supervisor to the scene to assist.

One suspect was arrested and handed over to the Scottburgh Saps for further legal processing.

Gladiator gives a shout-out to the Scottburgh Saps for its swift response and continued partnership in keeping the community safe.

The public is reminded to stay vigilant while shopping.
