Eight batteries stolen from cell towers in Mgolemi and Oshabeni
Police warn that anyone found in possession of or purchasing stolen batteries will face prosecution.

Two cases of cell-tower battery theft are under investigation by Saps Mehlomnyama.
In the first incident, four batteries were stolen from a network tower in the Mgolemi area near Assisi on June 1.
The thieves allegedly forced entry by breaking the lock on the tower door before removing the batteries.
Detective Constable Nqobile Cele is investigating the case and can be contacted on 083 4829226.
A day later, another four batteries were stolen from a network tower in Greenside, Oshabeni.
Police said they are following positive leads and thanked the community for its assistance in combating crime in the area.
The theft of cell-tower batteries, power cables and other essential infrastructure is a serious offence that disrupts services and impacts communities.
Police warned that anyone found in possession of or purchasing stolen batteries, copper cables or other stolen property will face prosecution.
