Mehlomnyama Saps arrest two for drugs

The public is urged to report criminal activity to police.

Two men, aged 35 and 28 years of age, were arrested in the middle of the night in Vusushaba area for possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.

This comes as Mehlomnyama police continue to make arrests of drug dealers in their policing area.

Captain Adam Francis said their residences were searched and police found mandrax tablets and heroine capsules, as well as cash, on June 5.

They appeared in court the following day and the matter has been postponed for further investigation.

The public is urged to report criminal activities, especially illegal firearms and drugs, to police.

All information will be treated as confidential.
