The event is part of several fundraising initiatives so that six deaf learners and four teachers can visit Gallaudet University in the USA. The trip is historically important to the school, and in particular, the learners, as this is the only university worldwide, which specifically caters for the deaf.
The car show will comprise a variety of categories such as show and shine, sound off, originality (vintage only), 4×4, tow trucks, superbikes and chopper bikes. A fee of R100 per category will be charged to enter the car show.
General entrance is free, and there will be lots of fun and games for the whole family. The event will be emceed by MC Gaye and music provided by DJ Kish.
