Youth urged to attend Hindu camp

The camp is for children aged seven to 18 and will be held at the Arya Samaj hall on December 8.

Locals are encouraged to send their children and grandchildren to the Hindu Heritage Camp, organised in association with the Hindu community of Port Shepstone.

It will be held at the Arya Samaj Hall on Andreasen Street, Port Shepston, on Sunday, December 8, from 09:30 to 14.30.

The aim of the camp is to unite and strengthen the Hindu community while promoting ideals, spiritual values, yoga and meditation. The camp is for children aged seven to 18. The dress code is an orange T-shirt and black pants.

Registration is free. Pre-registration must be done by December 5.

Activities include games, chanting and a quiz. Lunch will be provided. A certificate will be presented to each child taking part.
