PICS: Local emergency personnel spread the joy of Christmas

A convoy of first-responder vehicles with police was wonderful surprise for holidaymakers and locals.

Father Christmas and the South Coast’s first responders spread festive cheer last Saturday.

First responders included: paramedics, community police forums, police and various security companies, greeted holidaymakers and locals along their ‘Christmas parade’ which started at St Mike’s Beach.

The large group then made stops at Uvongo, Lucien, Margate and Ramsgate with a final stop being at Masinenge township where they handed out sweets to the children.
