Eskom has also noted that there are numerous areas dealing with power outages, and have confirmed that the adverse conditions have caused significant disruptions to the electricity supply in several regions.

Around 10:00 this morning, outages were reported in Kelso and Pennington, which Eskom was made aware of.

Ward councillor Alan Cutten reminds all residents to report power outages to Eskom by saving the sharecall number 08600 37566 on your phone, and then sending a WhatsApp message to that number.

The chatbot will assist you in logging the fault. Eskom will only attend to faults that have been logged.
