Shoreline Challenge from Southbroom to Mpenjati set for July 13

This time, organisers have decided not to finish inside the Mpenjati reserve, which means dogs are welcome to join their owners on the walk.

Nature lovers and fitness enthusiasts are invited to join Leg 5 of the Shoreline Challenge 2025 – a popular Walking In Nature series that sees participants exploring the beautiful South Coast beaches, one stretch at a time.

The next leg takes place on Sunday, July 13, from Southbroom to Mpenjati. Registration opens at 07:30 and the walk starts at 08:00.

This time, organisers have decided not to finish inside the Mpenjati reserve, which means dogs are welcome to join their owners on the walk. Those who would like to enter the reserve afterwards can do so at R40 per person.

To add to the day’s enjoyment, the Honorary Officers will be serving boerie rolls with tomatoes and onion sauce, plus tea or coffee for R50.

It’s a great way to get outdoors, support conservation efforts and spend quality time in nature.
