Scottburgh Primary celebrates 100 years of excellence

The school is proud to have celebrated its centenary in style.

Scottburgh Primary School recently marked a major milestone in its history with a spectacular celebration of its 100th birthday.

The school’s centenary celebrations began on August 4 with a special assembly featuring drumming, singing and dancing, as learners and staff came together to commemorate this significant occasion.

The assembly was a wonderful way to launch the celebrations, and it was followed by lovely picnic and games, which brought the school community together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

The grand finale took place on August 22 with the Under SPS Skies – Centenary Edition concert, where learners showcased their talents through dancing, singing and performing to century songs from 1920 to 2020.

The event was a huge success, with the audience mesmerized by the learners’ energy and talent.
